Queen and Freddie Mercury had laid dormant in my mind for a long time. But over the past couple of years I've rediscovered Queen and Freddie, and have been inspired by their music all over again. That would not have been possible without Youtube. It is with a passion that I turn to Youtube to watch the live performances of Freddie and Queen, recorded on stages all over the world.
In this post I will give you what I consider to be some breaking news right courtesy of Youtube:
Freddie Mercury was supposed to be in the Thriller video !!!!
Yes, the Michael Jackson THRILLER video ! Doesn't sound right does it?
Well, just listen to Freddie in this interview:
They seemed to come from different universes but apparently Michael was a big Queen fan and attended many Queen shows.
Here's a little somthing else you might be interested in knowing. The legendary Queen guitarist Brian May, revealed in his blog that it was Michael Jackson who suggested that Queen release "Another One Bites the Dust" as a single. It was a worldwide crossover hit for Queen.
